About Lakeside Youth Cheer
Our Mission:
As Board Members and Coaches of Lakeside Youth Cheer Association, we promise to create a positive and safe environment for students to achieve their goals and develop into confident young men and women. The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade cheerleading teams will work together to represent Lakeside Youth Cheer through pursuing athletic excellence, developing skills, practicing leadership, and promoting school spirit. Our team models inclusivity and kindness first, treating all people respectfully and encouraging others to strive to be their best selves in all situations. We rely on parents to support these program goals and facilitate a positive atmosphere at all LYCA events.

Help the Lakeside Ram's Youth Cheer Team Fight!
Lakeside Youth Cheer Association is a Non-For-Profit Youth Recreation Organization. Our program supports 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at Lakeside School District. Our main focus is to teach the sport of cheer while teaching the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, respect, community service, and good sportsmanship. We have no try-outs and there is no skill level required to join.
Our program relies on the generosity of our local sponsors to help keep our program affordable for our athletes. 100% of sponsorship donations received go towards:
*training for our volunteer coaches *first aid kits *rental spaces for practices *practice t-shirts *tumbling mats *team uniforms *youth cheer scholarships *organization events *community service events *end of year banquet
